The cascara consists of the pulp of the coffee fruit that we infuse slowly at an ideal temperature in order to draw out aromas reminiscent of plums as well as a slight vinous presence. Its delicate taste recalls that of herbal tea rather than coffee. A cup of this beverage contains only 26 % caffeine. It is known for its antioxidant properties.
